We live in an era of momentary needs and short -term thinking. Global corporations are ready for everything to satisfy the growing requests of shareholders, natural resources are consumed with unprecedented speed, and politicians discuss the use of nuclear weapons. And what will remain our descendants? Not abstract future generations, but our grandchildren and great -grandchildren? Will we leave them a safe, convenient world or a lifeless ash? In his book, the philosopher and sociologist Roman Krzhnarik explains how to achieve future generations can consider us good ancestors, to establish a personal empathic connection with people with whom we may not be destined to meet and whose life we can hardly imagine for ourselves.
