Based on domestic and unknown earlier, Swedish sources described the operation of Peter Great in September 1708 against the Coreland Corps of General A.L. Lulegupte, who hurried with huge military and food reserves to connect to the main army of the Swedish king Karl XII, which was moving into Moscow. Due to the commanding skills of Peter I and his companion General A.D.Neshikov, as well as the courage and combat lessons of the young regular Russian army, the corps was defeated on September 28 in Eastern Belarus from D.Lesna
