“Moscow Translations” is a unique bilingual publication with parallel texts in Russian and English, dedicated to memorable places in Moscow related to translators. This is a kind of guide, which briefly describes objects in Moscow, one way or another related to translation activities, with the history of translation and with today Moscow translators. The book describes the location and gives the addresses of the main objects of the city, in which in different periods there were important events associated with the development of Russian literature and translation. At the same time, the authors in no way claim to comprehensive information about the history of translation in Moscow. The publication is equipped with illustrations reflecting the historical past and present of the Moscow translation. The book is of undoubted interest for a wide range of Russian and foreign readers. When working on the book, materials prepared by students of the Higher School of Translation of Moscow University as part of a special seminar on theory, history and methodology of translation: A.
