The publication offers a tour of the places in Moscow associated with Marina Tsvetaeva. Each of these places (there are 60 of them) is somehow connected to the poet's biography. Some of the places were where her close friends lived, some were theaters where she attended performances, and others were where she performed herself. The buildings mentioned in the guidebook serve as a kind of Ariadne's thread, leading poetry lovers of Marina Tsvetaeva through her life - from birth to her departure at the beginning of the war for evacuation.
The textual material of the book consists of excerpts from Tsvetaeva's letters and essays, diary entries of her children - Alya and Mura, as well as memoirs of her contemporaries - participants in the events that took place. The text is complemented by a visual series - rare archival photographs and images of the current state of historical buildings.
