The book describes in detail the history of Moscow, the facts of the past are given with links to the annals and ancient sources. All areas and environs of the city, their streets and the origin of the names are represented. The address-calendar in alphabetically contains the addresses of all Moscow institutions: committees, banks, pharmacies, gymnasiums, hotels, shelters, libraries of craft schools and even pools. The prices for furnished rooms `with a servant and samovar` are indicated. The chromolithographic color plan of the city is attached.
