Intellectuals of Iran in the 20th century. He combined deep theological knowledge, philosophical thinking, extensive humanitarian erudition, and an innovative approach to religion, thanks to which he went beyond speculative philosophizing and became a true intellectual of action.
This book is a collection of fragments of the most vivid and interesting works of M. Motahhari, previously published in Russian translation. These works are dedicated to the most relevant problems of the modern author of Iranian society: the relationship between religious and national identity of Iranians, the development of principles of Islamic ideology, the legal status of women in Islam, the Islamic ideal of a perfect human, and the interaction of science and faith from the perspective of Islam. The book is preceded by an extensive foreword by Doctor of Philosophy, Professor of RUDN Matem Al-Janabi.
