The monograph presents a new scientific direction - the moral determination of the economic self-determination of the individual and the group. It is developed on the basis of integrating the theoretical and methodological approaches and the results of domestic and foreign research in the field of social and economic psychology, as well as psychology of morality. In the course of a comprehensive theoretical empirical study, a systemic analysis of the elements of the economic self-determination of the individual and a group having a moral nature, their relationships, structures, determination and dynamics in various, including crisis conditions, as well as functions at different stages of vital activity are performed. The identified patterns allow us to reveal the causes and predict some of the features of the economic behavior of the person, group and society, including those contrary to the principle of maximizing utility. The results of the study can be in demand when developing psychological support programs and evaluating the effectiveness of economic activities of various subjects.
