In the monograph, various hypotheses of molecular cellular mechanisms for the development of neurodegenerative diseases - Alzheimer"s diseases, Huntington and Parkinson are analyzed in detail. From the standpoint of neuroimmunoandocrinology - integral biomedical science - we consider the prospects for the use of signal molecules that are synthesized in the central nervous system as biological markers to optimize the lifetime diagnosis and targeting therapy of these diseases. The modern methodology for the study of molecular mechanisms of the death of neurons, which can be used to develop modern neuroprotective drugs. Particular attention is paid to the pioneer studies of the authors on the use of tissues available for biopsy (blood lymphocytes and buccal epithelium), for the prominent early diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases.
