This edition is the first comprehensive textbook in domestic and foreign practice on the auditory mastering of contemporary music. It selects and systematizes the typical difficulties of mastering the musical language of the 20th century (its modes, melodic structures, chord progressions, and rhythms). Special attention is paid to the problems of reading modern musical notation from sheet music.
