Years of joy and love

The novel of the famous Kazakh writer Azilkhan Nurshaykhov "Years of Joy and Love", created in the 70s of the last century, was addressed to youth. Since its creation, the book does not lose popularity, it affects the most burning issues that are relevant at all times. The main topic of fidelity in love and friendship is the main one. By the depths and purity of feelings, the relationship of the main characters of the novel by Yerbol and Mentai is comparable to such examples of great love as Togolegen and Kyz Zhibek, goats of Corpesh and Bayan Sulu. Events in the novel, the actions of the heroes, their thoughts and experiences are somehow illuminated through the prism of the criteria of morality and eternal human values. Through the image of the protagonist, the fate of the whole generation that passed the war and is in search of his place in a new, peaceful life is represented.
The novel can serve as a good landmark for young people in overcoming difficulties and educating personal qualities.
