The new novel of the famous St. Petersburg writer Igor Kubersky is not only witty, which is already good in itself (it is read in one breath), but also multiplans. With a relatively small amount of text, the author manages to create the illusion of the whole life of his hero, who fell into force majeure, when memory begins to work in a special regime. The paintings of the past, arising in the mind of the hero who literally have to fight for survival (he got into wormwood) create a stereoscopic image of our time, and the narrative itself acquires the features of the epic. The novel is full of interesting characters - our contemporaries and unexpected plots written vividly and expressively, in the best traditions of Russian prose. It affects the topics that are very relevant for our days, he is about love, life and death, he is optimistic, despite his drama, and will certainly be interesting to the modern reader.
