In the next volume of collected works of the world famous sociologist P.A. Sorokina (1889-1968) included works written in the genre of artistic prose. In the first section, articles, essays and feuilletons of 1907-1923 are placed, reflecting the stages of its formation as a person and a scientist, some of which are autobiographical, in the second-the science fiction novel “Laundry of Human Souls” (for the first time in full) The third section is P.A. Sorokin, written mainly in the spirit of Russian symbolism of the beginning of the 20th century. In the fourth - additional - section, the works of a scientist created in the American period of his life were placed. The publication is addressed to everyone who is interested in the life and work of P.A. Sorokina, as well as lovers of science fiction and Russian poetry of the beginning of the last century
