"Who cries for you" is the first and only novel for the adult audience of the famous children"s writer Yuri Druzhkov, the author of books about the adventures of a pencil and Samodelkin.
The novel occurs in the early 80s of the last century. The aircraft on which the main character flies, crashes in a deaf Siberian taiga. Only he and the young woman are saved. Trying to go out to people, they finally get to the island of civilization - a base that turned out to be abandoned. People are about to come, but they are still not there, and the connection with the world too. A terrible hunch will overshadow the heroes: have a nuclear disaster really happened, humanity died, and they are the only survivors on Earth?
