The book includes F.M. Dostoevsky, created at the very beginning of his creative path: the debut novel “Poor People”, which overnight made the author the famous, as well as the novel “White Nights” and “Netochka Nezovanov”. These works were written before the “disaster” of 1849, when the young writer was sent to the hard labor of Siberia for participation in the circle of Petrashevsky, where he spent about ten years. In the early works of Dostoevsky, the author of “Notes from the Underground”, “Crimes and Punishment” and “The Karamazov brothers” is still guessed, but the talent of a powerful and original writer was already revealed in them, who deserved enthusiastic reviews of critics and success among readers whose works were performed compassion and deep sympathy for trampled, ridiculous, but not having lost human dignity to people
