“We” is the iconic novel by Evgeny Zamyatin, from which the very existence of the “Antiopian” genre is officially counted. Forbidden in the Soviet period, now it is considered one of the cult works of not only Russian, but also world literature of the twentieth century.
This novel is about the Society of Equal, in which the human person is reduced to Numer. Everything is unified in it - clothes and apartments, thoughts and feelings. There is neither a family nor strong affection ...
