The fashionable and successful photographer Andrei Berg is preparing for the most important exhibition in his life. He should surprise the sheaf and prove that the head is above competitors. As a gift of fate, he perceives his meeting with the deaf -mute girl Marina, who turns out to be an excellent model. Obsessed with the search for the perfect frame, Andrei renews photo session again and again. Soon the girl understands that she became a hostage of the artist’s creative ambitions and a romantic story threatens to go to the thriller. Despite the tension of the plot, this is a story primarily about a person’s obsession with his business, art. The novel formed the scenario of the film of the same name, which was highly appreciated at the 42nd World Film Festival in Montreal and the prize in the nomination "for the best female role"
