I have long wanted to publish the book of Konstantin Naumov, the author at first said: “It’s too early to think about the book, I have too few stories so far”, and then: “I think”, and then: “I thought, we need to throw something and have something to throw out and Write a few more texts. " Well and so on. Normal in general workflow.
And in January 2018, Konstantin Naumov died, and now we are publishing his book without demand. From time to time I sit down and write him a letter with apologies and explanations: "You have very cool stories, it will be insulting, if no one reads them, the text still needs a reader, like plants and water. ” I write, and then I wash - but how else to correspond with the dead? Unpertured, erased letters are the only option. I really do not want this publication to look like a memorial, "in memory of ...", - well, as usual in such cases, they say. It is not memorial. This is a good book of a very good writer, which we simply did not have time to publish with him, thought that we still had a lot of time, and we had no time, however, we had no time at all.
