The worldwide fame of Venedikt Erofeev was brought by his famous, translated into more than thirty languages, the poem “Moscow - Petushki”. And although her hero - Venichka - never saw Red Square, but became truly popular, and the author himself was now recognized as a classic of Russian literature of the twentieth century.
