The Okkervil River has always attracted us with the unusualness of his name. We wandered a lot along its shores. The leisurely, but constant flow of water and the captivating charm of the Utkina cottage, which retained the reflection of the sunny Pushkin era, inspired us to write poetry and songs. Movement up the river is overcoming everyday life, because it is easy to swim only with the flow. The path to the upper reaches is a return to the origins, but at the same time, the road to the future ... The collection is addressed to a wide audience of readers, lovers of poetry and prose, as well as composers, playwrights, directors and artists who may be interested in the published texts as material for musical works of various genres, plays , performances, concert numbers.
