The last novel of the outstanding Perm writer Vladimir Sokolovsky (1945-2011), the main book of his life, was published only posthumously, with a circulation of 150 copies, and even within his hometown, few are known to anyone. The author worked on the book for the past twenty years, but still did not leave behind the final, final version of the book. This novel is menippeya with many heroes and intertwined plot lines, in which a comic flows into a tragic, Portuguese girl from among the Spanish children and a black African, having suffered many adventures, turn into Russian peasants. In the courtyard there are dashing nineties with their millions and billions, and almost all heroes are covered by a hysterical search for Lostevsky treasures, buried a hundred years ago and carefully guarded by small forest, undead. The letter found in garbage gives an impetus to the plot - and the reader, without looking up, flies along a hundred pages to the finale.
