Arseny Rovinsky was born in 1968 in Kharkov. He studied at the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute, served in the army. Since 1991 in Denmark, he has been living in Copenhagen. He made his debut in the Russian press in 1997 (Solo magazine), participated in the network literary contest Tender (1998, a special prize from Mikhail Aizenberg), and on the basis of a competitive selection, he issued the first book of poems in 1999. It was followed by the collections of “Extra-Dry” (2004), “All at once” (2008, along with L. Schwab and F. Swarovsky), “Winter Olympic Games” (2009), “Pearl catchers” (2013), publications in Almanac Babylon, the magazine Air, anthologies Nine Dimensions and Free Ulysses.
