The book "True stories of the Jewish town of Chernyakhs" was written according to the diaries of an amazing person, Idla Aizman. He lived in Chernyakhov before the war, the story of his life is truthfully reflected in the story "Aronchik". Being at a very advanced age, he moved to Israel with his family and kept diaries for twenty years, recalling all the dead and surviving inhabitants of this place. And this is the feat of the grandfather of Iza, as everyone called him. Five years ago, Imla Aizman was gone. At our last meeting, three months before his departure, Grandfather Izya gave me the diaries with the words: "You know what to do with it". So this book was born.
Stories are reliable, but I gave them the form of literary stories, rarely changing the names and surnames, since Imla Aizman was inaccuracy in the diaries of Imla. And sometimes I allowed myself to allow a little liberties in relation to the plot, but I did it just so that you should be readily read, or in order to at least somehow brighten up a terrible narrative, not amenable to any logic
