Although in fact, this volume, uniting two books under one cover, written at the turn of the 60-70s, could be called Dialogue with Swift. The dialogue that leads with the famous, equally glorified and damned Anglo-Irish philosopher writer Jonathan Swift (1667-1745) is a thirty-year-old Moscow philologist-intellectual. No wonder he could afford to conduct a dialogue with Swift - on an equal footing. Had the right
