The action of the new novel by Andrei Dmitriev - the famous Russian prose writer, a laureate of many literary prizes - is happening in our time in Ukraine, where the hero of the novel, a school teacher, persecuted by his own fears and a combination of ridiculous circumstances, runs from Russia.
