Julia Nemirovskaya - poet, prose writer, literary critic. Born in Moscow. She graduated from the Filfak of Moscow State University (1984) and graduate school of the philological faculty of Moscow State University (specialty - Pushkinist) There she defended her thesis (1990) Since 1991, he has been living in the USA, teaches at the University of Oregon.
In the 1980s, she was a member of the group of poets of the “New Wave” (club “Poetry”), participated in the promotions and publications of the group (in LG and Novaya Gazeta, in the magazines Yunost, Sign, Banner , The collection New Amazons , etc) In 1998, a book of poems “A and B” was published, and in 2014 - “The Second Book”. Poems are translated into French and English.
