For a long time it was believed that the history of Western culture is developing from myth to the logo. The myth was understood as a whole corps of changeable stories, in which the gods and heroes acted, who did not have either clear identity or a distinct "meaning." With the logos, clear conceptuality and philosophical view of the world penetrated into civilization. However, recently this picture has undergone radical rethinking. The Opposition of the MIF-Logos itself is now doubtful, and the figurative slurry that was attributed to the myth unexpectedly discovered the features of a modern attitude, much more complex and unstable than logical and conceptual schemes, so expensive culture of enlightenment. The uncertainty of the divine panteons of paganism has discovered direct parallels in the uncertainty of modern identities. The book is repelled from the appropriation of the myth with a culture of modernism (much attention is paid, in particular, the poem by Vladimir Gandelsman "Velimirov Book"), and then covers a wider circle of topics from the corporal to understanding the language and the subject, and shows how in the most relevant forms Consciousness penetrates what until recently seemed to us archaic
