The only joy. Poem

The book "The only Joy" contains the poems of Hieromonk Roman, written at the beginning of the 21st century. The semantic center of his poetic world is the image of Christ, to this day not accepted by the human race, the gospel story, which is out of time and repeating today. The madness of our world, who has forgotten God, the author contrasts the joy of a secluded monastic life and a prayer touch of Christ.
The late poems of the hieromonk novel are not known as well as his early chants, but they deserve no less attention. This is the fruit of many years of spiritual and literary works, the tragic poetry of a tense and concentrated thought of God, man, about himself and his people.
