The novel-epic of the outstanding English writer of the 18th century Henry Fielding (1707–1754) was created according to the classical plot for that time, designed to show that the nobility of the clan is not a guarantee of mental nobility at all, and low origin does not mean that a person is capable of only on basement. < Br /> “The History of Tom Jones” tells about the Youth-Orphan who is brought up in the family of aristocrats and, despite the dubious origin, shows all the qualities of a true gentleman: disinterestedness, honesty and sincerity. As befits in such a story, it is precisely such qualities that the main character will help the main character to find happiness, and everyone who stood in the way will suffer a fair punishment ... But not this banal story made a work of filding with the classic of English literature. The History of Tom Jones is a realistic and in places a funny picture of English life and customs of that time
