The new book of A. Davydov was written in his favorite genre of philosophical parables, set forth on the pages of the diary of presumably a Russian businessman from "former intellectuals". The experienced crisis seems to him not only personal, but also the crisis of the whole world, confused in imaginary ". In order to get rid of the annoying life and bored responsibilities, he finds a shelter in the boarding house "for the creators of any profile" in an unnamed country, in which, however, Italy is guessed. Fascinated by the local legend, he sets out in search of her constantly elusive hero, a French woman, in his opinion, capable of only his sincerity to turn out a worldwide catastrophe. This image is certainly inspired by the author of Francis of Assisian, but not historical, but as if living in all times, as well as the moods
