The book is a collection of works of A. A. Likhanov - an outstanding writer, founder and head of the Russian children"s fund, academician of the Russian Academy of Education, a longtime friend and honorary doctor of the St. Petersburg Humanitarian University of Trade Unions.
The book includes selected artistic, journalistic and scientific works by A. A. Likhanov, including the story "good intentions", the novel "Twentes", university texts for 2005-2019. The independent section made up the author’s memoirs about the writer Daniil Granin. The through theme of all materials is the key in the creative and social activities of Likhanov The theme of childhood. Part of the work included in the collection is published for the first time.
It is published in the publishing series "Classic Humanitarian Thought", which publishes the works of our contemporaries - outstanding representatives of domestic humanitarian knowledge.
The publication is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the birth of A. A. Likhanov. It is published as part of a decade of childhood in the Russian Federation (2018-2027), declared by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated May 29, 2017 No. 240.
