"Stories of a drunken protrusion" is the story of two mystically connected souls, in one of her earthly incarnations, who appeared to the ancient Greek girl Xenia (more than anything she loves to listen to fairy tales) and a gray -bearded old man with a protrusion (he drinks exclusively goat milk, does not eat meat and does not remember his own name) He visits her every ten years and tells marvelous stories from the distant future for them, having previously fallen into a trance. However, their life is only a thread on which 10 short stories are strung, it is the wanderer in white robes that tells them. And his stories are surprisingly diverse and voluminous prose, performed by irony, brilliance and restraint.
The novel by the poet Nadi Delaland, written in the spirit of mystical realism, is a gentle, funny and smart book. First of all, about love and overcoming the fear of death (and as a result, death itself), but it is read so easily that she wants to re -read it immediately, and then give it to all friends, familiar and even unfamiliar people, if they are kind and beautiful
