Dmitry Narkisovich Mamin-Sibiryak (1852-1912)-Russian writer, playwright. Born at the Visimo-Shaytan plant (Ural) in the family of a factory priest. The family lived quite modestly, but thanks to the efforts of my father, the future writer received a good home education. Later D.N. Mamin-Sibiryak studied at the spiritual school of Yekaterinburg and the seminaries of Perm, but the path of the priest did not attract a young man at all, and in 1872 he transferred to St. Petersburg to the medical and surgical academy from Perm. Children"s hobby for literature did not leave him, in 1875 D.N. Mamin Sibiryak begins to work as a reporter in one of the St. Petersburg newspapers.
Your first children"s story Emelya-Hunter D.N. Mamin-Sibiryak published in 1884. The story tells of the difficult fate of the little Grishta, which remains an orphan. He lives with Emele-hunter, knowing all the picturesque forests around their village. When the boy fell ill, he asked his grandfather to catch a deer. For several days, Emelya traveled over the deer and, finally, attacked the trail. But the hunter, admiring the Olenikha mother, bravely defending his child, could not kill them. Emelya remembered how his mother closed Grishty from the wolves with her body, and regretted deer.
In 1885, the story “Signer” was published. The protagonist - twelve -year -old Proshka - spends all the time in a close workshop at the wheel of an cloth. The owner of the workshop treats the boy well, but in reality he is indifferent to his fate. Once a noble lady with her son appeared in the workshop. She shows part in the fate of Prophas, but there is no sincerity here: Anna Ivanovna hopes that a visual example of a little vertel will save her son from lordly manners. And Proshka feels this falsehood. Even heavily sick, he refuses to move to the warm house of Anna Ivanovna and dies in the workshop.
In this book, the child will get acquainted with the stories Emelya-hunter and Signer.
