The work of the Georgian writer Guram Odisharia is closely connected with his hometown of Sukhumi and his memory of the refugee. This combination defined the originality of many of his books, which can be defined as lyrical documentary. The novel "Stobesteby" is a love chronicle of one life that begins in Soviet times and ending in present -day Georgia. The expulsion from their native places and the lost youthful love echoes each other in this narrative, either lyric, then ridiculous, at times tragic-nickel or philosophical-sprout, and built as non-linearly as human memory itself
