Small collected works

Yuri Karlovich Olesha (1899-1960) - recognized classic of Russian literature of the twentieth century. The list of his works is not great, but any of them, whether it is a play, a novel, a movie scene or a story - a small masterpiece in which every word stands in its place. Viktor Shklovsky wrote: “Yuri Karlovich Olesha possessed the ability to simply and surprisingly see the world, to make his attitude understandable, to give it ... Olesha was from few who were given the right to give through the word touch to the essence of the world. It himself was created from a rare metal metal. ”
The present publication included all the main artistic works of Yuri Olesha (the novels Envy and Three Fat Men, stories, drama), as well as selected articles and memories of Mayakovsky, Ilf, Stanislavsky and other contemporaries of the author
