The novel "Silver Inna" (in the original "Hohai", as called the area in the north of Sweden) is one of the brightest modern Scandinavian books. In Germany, a popular film "Snow Country" with Julia Yentsh in the title role was shot on it.
This is the story of two women from different eras, both of them survived the loss of a loved one, both lost their desire to live. Quite by chance, the past and present are found on the snowy expanses of North Sweden, where people go crazy with darkness and loneliness - to reconcile the dead and give hope alive.
This is a sophisticated and exalted novel about love and passion against the backdrop of a harsh northern nature. Excellent reading for everyone who does not have enough heart warmth who lack cold days.
