The fundamental meeting of the theatrical miniatures of the Silver Age, for the first time representing more than twenty playwrights and seventy stage texts, most of which are printed according to copyright typewritten manuscripts and rare repertoire collections published in single copies. The collection of the plays of each author is foreseen by a biographical essay, which tells about his work of Kabater. For the first time, plays of famous writers are published, still considered lost, for example, Khodasevich and Tuffy, as well as the works of authors who at one time enjoyed the public, but to date, almost forgotten and actually did not reach the reader. The large amount of stage texts of the Russian Theater of Miniatures and Kabar, collected in the book, restores this bright and rich lost layer of cultural history. Thanks to the humor, stylistic game, brilliant parody and genre originality, many of the presented miniatures remain stage relevance today, which allows them to consider them and as a possible replenishment of the repertoire of modern small scenes.
