The book “Shirkhoy River” is a collection of stories by Sergey Gorbunov, an honorary journalist of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As the fate of individuals, like streams, form a full -flowing river of life, so from the stories that formed the stories of Sergey Gorbunov, the canvas of the military and post -war Russian reality unfolds. These are stories about ordinary village people, their joys and sorrows. They are different in mood, but they are similar to the author’s uncomplicated gaze and his desire to describe everything as it is - honestly, without embellishment.
