Before the reader is a thematic collection of Russian -speaking articles of the Hungarian researcher Zhuzh Heteni.
The author introduces the term “Erotect” and puts the erotic motives of Nabokov in the context of pornography, ecstasy, myths, otherworldity, nomadism and libertinism.
It examines the phenomena of borders in the broad
sense - in the topos of initiation, in the act of memoirs, in the synesthetic perception of the language and in connection with vulgarity and totalitarian regimes.
The study puts Nabokov in the world context, from Homer and Dante to Lermontov, Pasternak and Harms, in an attempt to open some closed boxes of the great desk of creativity
