In his novel with the defiant name “Fun Life, or Sex in the USSR”, Yuri Polyakov endures us in 1983. The author masterfully, with crafty nostalgia, recreates a long -gone world. The reader, as always, is waiting for a masterfully twisted plot, in which a big policy, nomenclature games, intrigues of a creative environment and risky love adventures are intertwined. The “Chronicle of those years else” is written vividly, witty, and the language is distinguished by imagery and aphorism.
