Sixteen -year -old Ava Lee lost everything that can be lost in a fire: parents, best friend, her house and even face. Ave does not need a mirror to know how she looks - she sees her reflection in the frightened eyes of others.
A year after the fire, relatives and doctors decide that she should return to school in search of a “new norm”, although Ava does not believe that there can be at least something normal in the life of a charred girl.
