A five-year-old boy is brought to a psychologist: Kostya claims that he is a prisoner Rear Admiral Sato, commander of a punitive building. His freedom is limited: he is forced to live according to a certain daily routine, wear tights and there are broccoli. At the same time, he is surprisingly assembled and erudite for his age, and his sense of humor is by no means childish. The events of the novel unfold for twelve years - up to the age of majority of the protagonist. The reader will have to figure out: does Kostya suffer with a dissociative personality disorder - or does Sato really exist?
