Return Perspective: Stories

The poet, writer Peter Shmakov was born in Kharkov. He graduated from the Kharkov Medical Institute. Worked as a doctor. In 1995 he emigrated to the USA. Lives in the suburbs of Chicago. The book includes stories, prose miniatures and poems in prose, written in recent years. The section "On Life and Death" contains mainly dramatic plots. The section "little people" made up stories written in an ironic vein with a shade of sarcasm. The author is not limited to an external outline, often trying to make plots metaphysically and philosophically in -depth.
The book also includes the previously published selected prosaic miniatures, which were part of the book of poems "Beads on the neck of the night", and small excerpts from the novel "Tradition"
