In June 1989, an explosion of a gas pipeline occurred on a railway trip in Bashkiria, more than 600 people died. This event hit the fate of the people involved and not involved in it ... At first glance, therefore, the first part of the novel is called “catastrophe”, but the heroes still do not know that their catastrophe is much more terrible - the country"s collapse and fall into the abyss of 1990- yyh years. Thus begins a non -reliable chronicle.
The book does not have a single protagonist. The main in the book is the damned era that breaks fate and experiences the heroes of the novel - prison, war, poverty, loss of loved ones. Not everyone succeeds in going through these trials and not changing themselves ...
The narrative covers the period from 1989 to 2015-youth to the mature years of the generation, which renounced its great past, and next to them is growing up children of the 80s and 90s. The political detective unfolds against the backdrop of social drama for a quarter of a century, and its culmination is the war in the Donbass in 2014
