Refraction. Stained glass of our memory

Our life is similar to a stained glass window, which, as the years lived, develops in a certain speculative picture. We do not see the whole stained -glass window, we only vaguely imagine it not yet completed contours, and individual fragments - fragments of the past - either remember brightly, or vaguely, or do not remember at all. I carefully peer into stained -glass windows of my own memory, divided into individual fragments, it would seem, in no way interconnected and at the same time giving an idea of the time and space of the life of a separate person. This person turns out to be in various circumstances: on the sea, on land, in large and small cities, then rushing into the abyss of waters, then sitting in a small tavern of the corner of the universe forgotten by God during conversation with himself ... The reader can consider them under any angle, outside every queue, collecting individual scenes into a holistic picture. And everyone will have their own
