The name of the field of Adan is little familiar to the modern reader. The Book Club “Book -City” decided to correct this injustice by preparing in the series “Foreign Literary Archive” a collection of works of this talented French writer of the 19th century, including the novels “Red Mantles” and “Selfless Hearts”. Adan is a bright representative of the literature of the intellectuals of France, who has gone in his work all the way from naturalism to symbolism.
