In the center of the story of the novel "Rain and Snow in the thirty -ninth", based on real historical events, two couples, Chinese and Japanese. Their life before the war is in many ways similar, full of sincerity and love, but the war, which put the oily point in a calm existence, turns heroes into implacable enemies.
