With the deep semantic unity of the prose of Alexander Solzhenitsyn (1918-2008), it is amazing poetic diversity. In the early 1960s, readers of the first published stories felt this in an unexpectedly great, truly new writer: behind the "one day of Ivan Denisovich" followed by decisively inconsistent with him "The case at the Kochetovka station" and "Matrynin Dvor". Each time, new artistic decisions were revealed by the novel "The First Circle" and the Tale of the Rak Corps, "Tiny" and "Experience of Artistic Research" "" Archipelago Gulag ". Even each of the four nodes "narrative in the deadline" is built according to its own, special, poetic laws. In the book of A. S. Nemzer, published by Alexander Solzhenitsyn, an attempt was made to “slow reading” of a number of his works, the interpretation of their genre, compositional, stylistic originality, the specifics of the Solzhenitsa understanding of history and human personality. Particular attention is paid to the dialogue with the great literary tradition that the writer led throughout his work.
