Natalia Repina is a writer, screenwriter, winner of the script competition "Personal business". The novel "Prologue" is a laureate of the reader prize of the magazine "Ural". His events take place in 1954-1956. In the center of the narrative is the stories of two friends, one of whom is in love with a forty-year-old artist. All of them, like the country, are in anticipation of changes for the better. They all expect success, love, happiness from life, not realizing that what they consider to be a prologue to a great future is their life itself
