The vestibule of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, the Russian Historical Society has prepared and published a series of books of the Library Victory, which included the works created by Soviet writers, dramatuses and poets during the war. I consider this creative, patriotic project an important and demanded initiative.
The novels and novels collected here, poems and journalism are of particular value, because their authors were witnesses and direct participants in those heroic events. Konstantin Simonov and Alexander Tvardovsky, Yuri Bondarev and Boris Vasiliev - it is difficult to list the names of all who in their works brightly, talentedly, piercingly spoke about front -line everyday life and labor achievements, friendship and partnership, nobility and dignity, losses and trials. Introduced by the boundless love of the Motherland, pride in the courage and courage of people, their work without falsehood and state pathos praises the feat of our people, defending the freedom and the independence of the Fatherland, who saved the world from Nazism.
I am sure that this publication will contribute to the savings of our historical, national memory, will be interesting to the widest circle of readers.
