The monograph is devoted to the study of the prayer lyrics of Russian poets, which is characterized as a lyrical phenomenon. In a security word, ideas about mental search are often concentrated at a crisis moment of life or about finding a path during historical disasters.
The book opens the theoretical section, where the analysis of the poetry of poetic prayer is presented, the nature of the prayer discourse and the peculiarity of the perception of the Christian liturgical cycle in the lyrics of the XIX - the beginning of the twentieth century are described. The work investigates such phenomena as prayer architectonics, ontology of the sacred name, the category of the last request in poetic prayer. The analysis of the creative understanding by Russian writers of Christian prayer “Our Father” and the history of the first national anthem of Russia “God, keep the king!”.
The second part of the book is devoted to the study of prayer lyrics by A. S. Pushkin, M. Yu. Lermontov, F. I. Tyutchev in the context of the artistic picture of the world of each of the poets. A special section reveals the peculiarity of the perception of prayer discourse M. Yu. Lermontov with poets of the Silver Age - A. A. Akhmatova and S. A. Yesenin. The final chapter is dedicated to the lyrics of Yu. V. Zhadovskaya, the “prayer” of which (“World intercourse, mother is all -otepy!”) At the turn of the XX - XXI centuries.
